Energy audit

The Legislative Decree 102/2014 established a framework of measures for the promotion and improvement of Energy Efficiency aimed at achieving national energy saving objectives.

The Energy Audit, mandatory for all energy-intensive companies, is a tool governed by the Decree aimed at providing an adequate and in-depth knowledge of the energy consumption profile of a building or group of buildings belonging to an industrial activity or plant. It makes it possible to identify the causes of possible energy wastage, to study which targeted improvements can be made and to assess their technical feasibility and cost-effectiveness by means of a cost-benefit analysis.

RENOVIS not only carries out Energy Diagnoses in accordance with the Law, but also plans and carries out possible interventions to rationalise energy consumption.

An accurate Energy Diagnosis must be carried out according to the following sequential steps:

  • Collection of preliminary information and technical documentation of the users in order to draw up a first level energy analysis;
  • Inspection of the company and collection of consumption data, essential for carrying out an in-depth analysis of industrial processes typical of manufacturing (use and management of energy);
  • Processing of the collected data and drafting of the final report which will contain the indication of the critical points identified and the relative technological or operational countermeasures that can be implemented aimed at a cautious and accurate management of users involved in production and manufacturing processes.
  • ENERGY AUDITS: OBLIGATED PARTIES
