Monitoring and reducing consumption in the playwood panel production

The project is part of the energy efficiency of the plywood panel production process and consists in the installation of a system capable of measuring and monitoring the behaviour of 11 centrifugal fans driven by inverters present on a production line. Through the system, the operating parameters are acquired in real time by the meters in the field and transmitted at regular intervals to a dedicated server for historization.

Results obtained:
  • Savings in electricity: 143.351 kWh/year
  • Primary energy saving: 27 Toe/year
  • CO2 not released into the atmosphere: 75 tons/year

The plant is equipped with a remote consultation system. This is essential for the final balance and verification of the energy savings achieved, the latter activities being managed directly by RENOVIS.
